Local Authority events - Switching on of Christmas lights, summer festivals etc Spectacular firework finales at musical events – short but powerful finales at up to £1000 per minute. Whatever the event, a firework finale will extend the evening. Quiet displays, with a minimum of noise – just colours and effects – available.

Wedding Receptions: Can be anything from a 10 -minute continuous flow of fireworks to a short but spectacular finale burst high in the sky and lasting seconds!

A typical £450 Wedding Display starts with an Opening Salvo of three amazing 100mm aerial star shells – coloured chrysanthemum bursts - followed immediately by Roman candles creating a continuous curtain of colours and effects, in a fanned shaped arc up to 100 feet high and 150 feet wide, changing without a break every half minute. At the same time we fire beautiful aerial shells over this curtain of colours and effects ending with 150 mm aerial spider shell, giving a huge golden canopy over the entire display. Lasts about 5 minutes.

For an extra £145 (making the display total cost of £595) we will include one of our unique rapid-fire finale barrages where twenty-eight 75mm mixed coloured aerial shells are fired over ten seconds to give a staggering effect! You won’t see any better!

Larger and more complex displays to order, designed for your specific site – i.e. where it is to be fired – and your budget. There are many varied options and combinations. We can offer an amazing display for your 21st party for £1000, which includes lots of movement, colour and exuberance – just the thing to keep the party going on into the night!

For smaller parties we offer smaller budget displays.

St Valentine’s day OR engagement parties – have your names in fireworks set within a large (6 foot high) heart shaped firework.

New Year’s Eve – it’s probably not a good idea to stand outside for more than a few minutes after leaving the party, so we have designed a special short, sharp and very effective display for New Year’s Eve celebrations.

Where We Do Our Displays

At Firework Display Specialists we use our own unique system for supporting mortar tubes and Roman candle bouquets, based upon free standing, wide based and very stable support structures.

So, we do NOT need to dig holes, bury pegs or other destructive activities to the display site.

Our favourite working surface is hard and flat – a car park, tennis court, school playground, top of a multi-storey car park or even a road.

Easy vehicular access and no mud, grass, cow muck or thistles -and usually dry.

In previous local displays we have fired from a wide variety of hard surfaces including:

The middle of Nottingham Market Square – six displays for late night shopping over six weeks leading up to Christmas.

Off the top of a flat roofed cinema in Kirkby in Ashfield.

Off the foot path along the river Trent, along side County Hall, for the Nottingham Riverside Festival.

Off the hard standing pavement alongside Nottingham Castle near the Eastern Terrace.

From both the inside and outside of Pride Park (Derby).

The car park of the Hindu Temple on Carlton road (Diwali fireworks).

Off the top of Newark Town Hall (Christmas lights) and from the foot of Newark Castle.

However, most displays take place off grassy surfaces – fields, paddocks, parks, football stadiums, golf clubs, hotel gardens, and even large private gardens.
