With meticulous, on-time delivery and fresh, homemade food, it wasn't long before the high-tech Powerhouses of their day, companies like Digital Equipment and Burroughs, were ordering daily. Menu expansion brought even more clients who needed high quality cocktail receptions, along with Barbecues, Clambakes, and Boat Cruise functions.

The Gourmet Lauren name was adopted in March of 1985 after my daughter and good luck charm, Lauren. We adhered to the philosophy that we were building our reputation and not living off of past glories. (We still feel the same way today.)

Here is an example; For a bank opening, Gourmet Lauren handled all the details for our client: a mime to greet each guest, different entertainment for each of the 3 floors, opening banners and gifts for the attendees, total bar services including a champagne pyramid, complete floral arrangements with rental plantery, and a different gourmet menu for each floor. This truly was a sumptuous feast for the eyes as well as the palette. Every detail was coordinated so it appeared seamless to the guests and allowed the hosts to receive all the accolades.
